Should I turn off the pond?

The pond in my new house has all the bells and whistles, lights, fountain, like it's from a movie. This got me thinking, what if I were to go away for a week or a month long vacation, should I turn everything off or leave it as it is? There's no life in the pond, so everything is just decorative

Hahaha if you don't mind the extra electricity cost, leave it on. After all, what's the use of it if you don't flex it when they can see? But if you're saving costs, which you probably aren't since why are you considering this in the first place if you are, then turn it off.

You're paying for all those "bells and whistles" while you're not there to enjoy them haha! but if money is not an issue then i'd say go for it

I guess f it's purely decorative and there's no fish or plants to worry about, you can turn it off while you're gone to save energy and wear on the equipment

Right, just make sure to clean the equipment beforehand so nothing clogs up or gets damaged while its off. When you get back, a quick check and restart should have everything looking great again.

Sure, if it's purely for display and nothing living is impacted, switching it off can save energy safely.
