I've noticed foxes getting more active as winter approaches, even during the day. They're jumping onto the winter covers of my raised pond, probably attracted by the scent of the fish underneath. They're surprisingly agile, managing to get over our 6 foot fence in an urban area where they are getting bolder. Before winter comes, I'm concerned about how to protect my pond once I remove the covers. Does anyone have tips on keeping foxes away safely during the colder months?
