Pond nets and herons

If you had known from the beginning that protecting your fish from herons would mean putting a net over your pond...it is helpful, but not very nice to look at, would you have done it anyway? It's a tough call. We all want to protect our fish. Just wondering… what does heron even taste like?
 
Netting is the way to go if you're looking to keep your fish safe. When it comes to heron, though, it's protected in many areas, so eating it isn't really a viable option
