I'm new to all pond things and I didn't know that there is a pond food that is color enhancing? So from what I read, this helps the koi and gold fishes get more vibrant colors. is this right? anyone here has used one and is it effective?

Sounds magical right? but really it jus works by providing specific nutrients that aid in pigment production. the ingredient in most color enhancing foods is usually carotenoids like spirulina or beta carotene

it is effective but remember if your fish doesn't have the genetic potential for a certain color, the food won't make it appear. like example, a white koi won't turn red.
